He is able capture the audiences attention easily. He played the part of a serial murderer in the first TV series he appeared in but later went on to take on the role as an NYPD detective. He has been nominated multiple times for prestigious Emmy Awards and the PRISM Awards for his tiny screen appearances. One of his most distinctive face features is thought to be the sharp blue eyes which have allowed him to portray characters who appear rough and fascinating. The actor was featured on People's list of Sexiest Men Alive in 2006.
