Christopher-Meloni

Christopher Peter Meloni was an American actor who is known for his role in the popular television series called 'Law & Order Special Victims Unit. While in college, he started to take an interest in acting. In the University of Colorado at Boulder where he enrolled in the acting program. He has appeared in both films and television, but it was his character on the small screen that brought him fame and a large fan base. His ability to be a character on both sides of law is a draw for viewers. His initial project was a TV serial but he later played the role of a NYPD detective. His small-screen performances were rewarded with numerous Emmy Awards nominations and PRISM Awards. The piercingly blue eyes of his face are considered to be the best element. Also, they are regarded as an iconic feature, and have been recognized as helping him to portray characters who were rough but empathetic. People's magazine listed him as one of the Sexiest Men Alive for 2006.
